Maris Grove Extended Care

Maris Grove is a premier continuing care retirement community from developer Erickson Living located in Glen Mills, PA. Construction of a new 3-story extended care facility will benefit from the utilization of Hambro Structural Floor Joists on load bearing steel stud wall panels. This amenity rich facility joins numerous other buildings on the campus which benefit from Hambro composite joists on this 87-acre community in Delaware County.

University of Maryland – New Residence Hall & Dining Facility

As part of UMD’s 15-year On-Campus Housing Strategic plan, they are building a new residence hall and dining facility. Both of these buildings will utilize Hambro Structural Floor Joists bearing on steel studs. The new dining hall, replacing an outdated 1974 facility, will contain 1,055-seats, and is designed for LEED Silver certification. The new 7-story dorm will be constructed on the site of old athletic fields, and is designed to maximize natural light and create an engaging housing experience for undergraduates.

Wind Crest

Wind Crest is a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living. Located in the Denver, CO area, Wind Crest is currently expanding their Highlands Ranch community to include a new 7-story independent living residence building. Wind Crest’s 89-acre campus will house multiple buildings featuring the Hambro floor system on steel stud bearing walls.

The Selby

The Selby, located at 695 Merrick Parkway in Westbury, NY, is a new luxury rental development currently underway from developer Beechwood Organization. On this 5.87-acre property will rise a 7-story, 400,000-square-foot building including 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units. This $110-million development will utilize Hambro Composite Joists on steel studs.

Brightview Bethesda Grosvenor

Brightview Senior Living is currently developing their newest Assisted Living & Memory Care facility in Bethesda, MD near the historic Grosvenor Mansion. Slated to open in 2020, this 92-unit facility is being erected on a 3-acre site by general contractor Harkins Builders, Inc. with project engineer Morabito Consultants. Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, this 3-story, 85,000-square-foot community features resort-like amenities with safety, comfort, and aesthetics as priorities.
