Circle East is a 240,000-square-foot high-rise apartment and retail complex project in Towson, MD. This 8-story redevelopment features Hambro Structural Floors bearing on prefabricated load bearing metal studs over 6-stories of a poured in place parking structure. The combination of Hambro on load bearing metal studs provides a lighter structure that can help reduce the transfer and foundation requirements when building up to 11 stories. The strip and go Hambro forming system bearing on fully sheathed prefabricated wall panels resulted in a faster construction schedule. This allowed the building to be closed in as the structure went up.
